The Telluride 2006 Student Symposium application time is here and the deadline to apply is April 29, 2006 (postmark deadline). The symposium programs are directed at college students who have a passion for cinema--no matter what their major. The TFF Symposium (now in it's 17th year) is a rigorous five-day program of film screenings and discussions. The student programs begin August 31 and end September 4. The film festival runs Sept. 1-4, 2006. If accepted students, must travel to Telluride at their own expense, but a $200 stipend check is paid to each student upon arrival. Copies of the entry forms with the rules and stipulations for the application package are in the main office at the front reception desk.
