As Director of Alumni, Meryl Warren works with the Deans in the administration of the Film School. She coordinates alumni affairs for the Film School, and publishes a weekly Warren Report which keeps faculty, current students and alumni updated on happenings within the Film School and information about alumni. She organizes annual screenings of thesis films in Los Angeles, Atlanta and Panama City.

A native of Montana, Ms. Warren studied at the Kinman Business University in Spokane, Washington. She has served on the staff of Florida State University for more than 35 years, 17 of which were spent with the FSU College of Communication. Since 1990 she has served as Administrative Coordinator of the Film School.

Meryl has been editor and writer of newsletters and published reports. She is a frequent member of the University's governance, alumni, homecoming, and awards committees. In 1988 she began playing a major role in the creation and design of the new College of Motion Picture, Television and Recording Arts and was crucial to its development and growth since its establishment in 1989. She remains enthusiastically involved in its day-to-day operation and is the only individual within the school who personally knows every student who has been enrolled in the film major since 1989.
